United Way of Kent County, in conjunction with Kent Family Center and Chesapeake Charities is presenting an orientation meeting for the upcoming session of Getting Ahead in a Just-Getting-By World. This program is a 12 week focus group for low income people looking to make their way out of the cycle of poverty permanently. Child care and a meal will be provided. If you need transportation to this event, please call the Family Center to arrange it.
