Horizons of Kent and Queen Anne's

Horizons of Kent and Queen Anne’s strives to help underserved children take charge of their lives and realize their full potential. Our six-week summer learning program strengthens students' academic performance, builds their self-confidence, and nurtures citizenship skills. The Horizons educational model has been confirmed by recent research as the most effective approach to summer learning programs. The national results, as well as our own local findings, have increased students’ positive attitudes toward school and improved attendance and graduation rates. We serve a diverse group of students in grades PreK through 12 through our summer learning program, our school year program and our high school leadership program.
