The Kent County CARES Foundation fills gaps in services to children and families in the County. The mission of the Foundation is to protect children against abuse and neglect, preserve families against violence or breakdown, and supports self sufficiency in vulnerable adults and children by funding needs not otherwise met through State, Federal or local funding. The Kent County CARES foundation is overseen by the Kent County Social Services Advisory Board. KC CARES Foundation is a member of the Maryland Association of Social Services Boards Foundation, a 501(c)3.
